Whenever I visit Nikko, I tend to stop by Toshogu Shrine or Chuzenji Lake,
This time, however, I went to Tobu World Square, which I had been curious about.
It is a place where you can take a good look at architecture from all over the world, and is ideal for those who want to travel abroad.
It is a perfect place for Japanese people who want to travel abroad but cannto travel abroad due to recent weak yen.
Departing from Tokyo at 9:00 a.m., we have arrived at Nikko around 11:30 and had yuba soba (buck wheat noodles) at Michi no Eki Nikko before sightseeing.
Yuba Soba certainly tastes like Nikko. It makes you feel like you are on a trip.
However, it was crowded, so you may want to eat at other restaurants – it’s everywhere NIkko.
Tobu World Square
Arrive before 2:00 p.m. and pay the admission fee to enter.
The fee is 2,800 yen for adults and 1,400 yen for children (4 years old and up).
Upon entering, we were greeted by a band of musicians.
Here, there are miniatures of various buildings not only in Japan but also in the world,
which makes you feel like traveling.
It may be good for study as well, since it is not easy to memorize buildings with pictures on textbooks.
Sequence: Modern Japan => USA => Egypt => Asia => Japan
For starters, we will take a walk from Tokyo Station. It was built by Kingo Tatsuno in 1914.
New Tokyo International Airport (Narita Airport)
Tokyo Tower can be seen behind Narita Airport. The distance does not seem to be reproduced.

What I liked about the Asia Zone was the Great Wall of China.
It looks spectacular.
In the Japan Zone, there are many historical buildings on display, including the Byodoin Phoenix Hall and the Engakuji Temple Shariden.
Temples are good for studying Japanese history because it is difficult to grasp their features and identify them in text books.
The visit was such that it took about two hours to walk around the whole area.
If you have time during your trip to Nikko, I recommend you drop by.

Here is the dinner I was looking forward to. The soy milk shabu shabu shabu with yuba was excellent.
