Edo-Wondr land is located in the direction of Kinugawa Onsen.
Wearing a kimono and strolling through the Edo town, you will feel as if you have stepped back in time to the Edo period. The entrance can be seen as soon as you get out of your car from the parking lot.
EDO Wonder Land
It is quite pricey, though, at 5800 yen per day for adults and 3000 yen for children,
I think it is a reasonable price, as many of the plays inside are free to enter.
Walking a little further from the entrace, you will find a place where you can rent kimonos.
As I looked around, I saw children and foreigners renting kimons.
My daughter was dressed in a kimono, and she fell lile people in Edo period.
The streets of Edo period have been recreated.
It would be nice to walk around in a kimono.
I tried my hand at baking rice crackers. It was delicious.
At the Minamimachi Magistrate’s Office, a play by old style court and judge can be seen.
The oiran-doju (oiran courtesan) was also seen.
Oiran is a kind of prostitutes, but it is said that only high-ranking samurai would deal with them,
and if they were not to their liking, they would refuse to do with them.
Personally, I enjoyed the Ninja Theater the most.
I was amazed at how the actors flew and jumped like real ninjas.
There were also bow and arrow and shuriken throwing.
Finally, we entered the ninja house.
The building is sloped so that your eyes go round and round.
I can’t live in such a place.
Edo-wonder land has many attractions and plays, and it was a facility that I could spend a whole day enjoying.
It is worth a visit as you can feel the atmosphere of the Edo period.
Nikko Kinugawa Hotel Mikazuki
This time I stayed at Hotel Mikazuki, which I had heard about through commercials but had never stayed there before, so I was looking forward to it.

Open and luxurious lobby.
Japanese/Western room type. You feel like a lord.
And dinner. Even a child’s cooking is such a big amount of food.
My daughter could not eat all of it.
Adults are here. Sashimi, Wagyu beef, hot pot etc., it is a full course.
The wagyu beef grilled on a ceramic plate was also delicious.
In the baths that followed, there was a golden bath.
There is this golden bath and a silver bath, which are interchangeable between men and women
and can be used mutually at different times of the day.
Breakfast is a buffet. You can choose from a wide variety of items.
Health-conscious menu for me.
